Once upon a time there was a little girl called Goldilocks who lived close to a great forest with her mother and father. Now ever since she was tiny, her mother had told her she must never wander off into the forest because it was full of wild animals, especially bears. But as Goldilocks grew older she longed to explore the forest.

So one day she tiptoed out of the house when her mother and father were asleep. Soon she came across a tiny cottage. She tried the door and found it was unlocked, so she crept inside.
